Vibrant Vegetable Stir-Fry Recipe



This colorful vegetable stir-fry is not only pleasing to the eye but also packed with nutrients, making it a perfect dish for a healthy diet. Quick to prepare and versatile, this recipe can accommodate any vegetables you have on hand, ensuring a fresh and satisfying meal every time.


Ingredients:

  • 1 cup of broccoli florets

  • 1 red bell pepper, sliced into strips

  • 1 carrot, julienned

  • 1 cup of snow peas

  • 1 cup of sliced mushrooms

  • 2 tablespoons of sesame oil

  • 2 cloves of garlic, minced

  • 1 tablespoon of fresh ginger, grated

  • 2 tablespoons of soy sauce (or tamari for a gluten-free option)

  • 1 tablespoon of sesame seeds

  • 2 green onions, thinly sliced

  • Cooked brown rice, for serving

Instructions:

  1. Prepare the Ingredients: Wash and chop all the vegetables. Keep them ready before you start cooking, as stir-frying is a quick process.

  2. Heat the Oil: In a large skillet or wok, heat the sesame oil over medium-high heat. Add the minced garlic and grated ginger, and sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant.

  3. Cook the Vegetables: Add the broccoli, carrots, and bell peppers to the skillet. Stir-fry for about 3-4 minutes, then add the snow peas and mushrooms. Continue to stir-fry until all the vegetables are just tender but still crisp.

  4. Season the Dish: Pour the soy sauce over the cooked vegetables and toss to coat evenly. Stir-fry for another minute to let the flavors meld together.

  5. Garnish and Serve: Sprinkle sesame seeds and green onions over the stir-fry before serving. Serve hot over cooked brown rice for a complete meal.
